FASD is an umbrella term describing the range of effects that can occur in an individual whose mother drank alcohol during pregnancy. These effects may include physical, mental, behavioral, and/or learning disabilities with possible lifelong implications.

New Hampshire Task Force on Women and Recovery (TWR)
Taskforce on Women & Recovery members are women and men with lived experience, allies, professionals and concerned citizens. Together we can ensure that no New Hampshire woman need choose between her safety and her sobriety or between caring for her minor children and getting the help that she needs. We can work to reduce high rates of underage drinking among New Hampshire girls.

Monadnock Family Services (MFS)
Monadnock Family Services is a non-profit agency that works to serve the mentally ill. MFS offers several types of programs for the mentally ill as well as at-risk youth prevention programming.

Monadnock United Way (MUW)

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.

SADD
Originally, the mission of the SADD chapter was to help young people say "No" to drinking and driving. Today, the mission has expanded. Students have told us that positive peer pressure, role modeling and environmental strategies can prevent other destructive decisions and set a healthier, safer course for their lives.

New Futures
New Futures is a nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy organization working to reduce underage alcohol problems and increase access to treatment in New Hampshire through leadership and policy development.
